Pure Worship Institute Returning to the Week-long Format
Just in time for its 10th Anniversary, Pure Worship Institute is making some exciting new changes. After sampling more of a conference vibe in 2016, the school of worship is now returning to the week-long format it began back in 2008. In addition, there is a fresh focus on youth and young adults for 2017.
“We’re, excited,” Pure Worship Institute founder, Jeff Deyo, remarked, “because we’ve made a decision to focus our efforts on the next generation. We’ve always been passionate about reaching people of all ages, all backgrounds, and all nations, but we now feel specifically, that we have a mandate from the Lord to pour into young people between the ages of 13 and 23.”
Though this is a big change from previous years, it really works well with the North Central University vision to reach primarily students, helping to train and equip them spiritually and in their area of giftedness. And for those over 23 who would still like to attend, Pure Worship Institute is making this possible at half price when they recruit 3 students to attend with them.
Registration is now open, and dates this year are June 19-23, 2017. Some of the special guests for this year include, speaker/author/artist, Eric Samuel Timm, speaker and Dean of Campus Ministries at Bethel University, Laurel Bunker, songwriter and Worship Arts Pastor at Emmanuel Christian Center, Mark Alan, songwriter/producer/guitarist and Creative Arts Pastor from Christ Church of the Valley, Ben Gowell, and of course, worship leader/speaker/author and NCU Professor, Jeff Deyo.
